I am a bandoneón player and composer based in the Pacific Northwest. I regularly perform with Ciao Felicia, Cafecito, Conjunto Berretin, and The Dome Orchestra, though I occasionally turn up farther afield—in Toronto, New York, and wherever else someone lets me bring a bandoneón.

Outside music, I dabble in linguistics, watercolor, & fiction. Miniatures bring me endless joy. My program notes have been described as “silly cartoon,” & my humanity as “very human.”

I was born in the Bay Area to a family of teachers, graduated from the Bard College Conservatory of Music, and started playing bandoneón a few years later. I now live in Portland with my husband and five cats, playing bando as much as I possibly can.
